Death of Disharmony
By Count Von Bloodletter
Damnation in disharmony
As I press the pain of humanity
Into infernal chorus on a string
Letting the sound of suffering
Silent screaming as I sing
Chant a requiem of constant
Within the minds to ring
My long untouched nails
Defiling against each note
My instrument itself tears
Playing the very sound
Of constant nightmares
Bleeding from its inside
If it was once ever alive
You would know now that it had died
With its tender tune of suicide
As my song plays on
The sun dims its light
Its final rise of dawn
As we approach eternal night
Shades of my violent violin
Play like Saint's protest of sin
Sanction of surrendered summoning
Silencing the peace lit with suffering
Narrowed neurotic slaying
The merry melody decaying
Conceiving further disharmony
Violence will be the end of me
Protesting the world about
Living within the deceit and doubt
The notes quiet and slow
The end is coming, this I know
Inside runs dry, killing the tune
Causing my violin to fall
To the ground, beneath the moon
As its last echo fades away
No longer greeting the light of day
Melodies no longer persist
As we now end the tune of dismay
Letting go of the pulse inside me
In the death of disharmony.
