Carved in Crimson

By Count Von Bloodletter

I see my own name
Written in blood
Torn in flesh
Created from pain
From a woman
Whose heart was in vane
I felt it inside
I felt that part of her
That once had died
I felt that pain
Carved in crimson
I know how she felt
I saw her soul within
Suffering and torn
As though I had deceased
She continued to mourn
I pressed my lips
Across the words
Carved in her hips
Feeling it enter me
Beneath me as well
What I caused
Suffering in Hell
Carved in crimson
Her scars inside me
Carved in crimson
Need to be set free
A pain contained
A love constrained
An undying feeling
Lusting for more
The scar is healing
As I am within her
I realize I can be
That scar's cure
I want her with me
As she joins my soul
Carved in crimson
Heartbreak took its toll
As I felt it
The pain once there
But now it shall quit
As I still care
As I always will
Carved in crimson
Love the medicine
The tourniquet
As together we heal it
The scar removed
Our lives renewed
Carved in crimson
Blood to disappear
Contained within
Happiness is near
As wounds heal
Truth is found
Love can be real
But its pain
Even more surreal.
